*Dob walks to the podium, as he normally does around this time each month.* 
Without saying a word, he slowly reaches inside his suit jacket(covered in "get out the vote" buttons), raises an aerosol can with a small bugel attached, and blows it into the microphone.  Unknowingly, Saundra had turned the volume wide open during testing and forgot to turn it back down. SBGers were literally ~blown~ from their chairs for the first 3 rows.  Opppsss, sorry folks, guess we need to leave the tech stuff to Java next time.  Pausing a moment to allow the pandimonium to die down, Dob clears his throat and begins....
"My fellow Americans, sorry, wrong speech"...  My fellow SBGers, it gives me great pride to be honored to stand here before you tonight and bestow the honor to this month's recipient of the SBG Member of the Month. This month's winner was ear-marked for this award some 2-3 months ago, to be given this month. I've spent many sleepless nights worrying about this presentation and concerned greatly about the possibility of missing any important aspects connected to this person. I figured that no one person could possibly remember all the positive things this person has done for and with the SBG. Then it hit me......  Why even try? Why not hit the streets and ask a few of his peers just how they all feel about him? Why not include anyone who might be around, to say a few words about one of the greatest SBG guild members to ever grace these hallowed halls? So...pen and paper in hand, I began my survey poll of this month's winner.......our own beloved....Renegade_Yoda !!

I think he has a great sense of humor. He is also very analytical (that why he is a great host of the Survivor game).

Yoda is a shining light in the forum with a saber-sharp sense of humor, strong force of wisdom and a galaxy of ideas. From the zenith of the day, to the nadir, you can always count on Yoda to stay on course while he orbits the forum, lands in the threads and disembarks his helpful spirit and kind demeanor.

I don't know if I can find coherent words to describe Yoda. Or should I say, can I find pg-13 words to describe Yoda?
A million years ago when I was on Council, Yoda pushed me to expand my process of thinking. While never actually agreeing or disagreeing with me, he urged me to flesh out my ideas into a more cohesive whole. He also got me into a LOT of trouble by getting ME to open my mouth instead of him speaking. Jerk. (Hrmph)
Yoda's a lot of fun to talk to and has one heck of a head on his shoulder. I'm sure he's a great dad and I'm happy to consider him my friend.

Anyone who enters the battledome on behalf of Neodaq or SBG will eventually run into our resident wizened green man, Master Yoda. The Master is, well... the master. Especially when it comes to giving out advice about weapons, or battle techniques.
The little green man also has a big heart, often consoling others in their time of need or loss. He can be a great friend, just make sure you're standing on the right side of his light saber.

If it wasn't for Yoda and his Survivor competition, I probably wouldn't have started participating in the forums and would still be lurking without contributing.
He is always willing to help out and answer questions when he's online and he makes everyone feel welcome.

Over the years of of being in SBG, one of the many things I look forward to are Yoda's riddles. Beside Yoda sharing his passion to battledome, I enjoy mostly participating in his challenges. They always make my brain go shift to a rarely used gear. Conrgats Yoda on bring the Member of the Month.

The great master Yoda. You may think it is just a name and perhaps it is, but it is also a well deserved name. For years he refused to take a post among the admins but don't let that make you think he wasn't in control of things. Oh yes the powers of the force are strong within that one and he was always in control.
Find yourself in the middle of a debate and you'd soon find a PM giving you kudos or telling you to calm down a bit. Need some battle training and you'd soon find yourself sparring with the master himself. (No I've never beaten him, come close though).
I'd love to think of master Yoda as my friend but in truth he is everyone's friend. That's just the way he is.

I have two takes on Yoda. The serious take is that he has always impressed me with his clear thinking, intelligence, maturity and wit.
The less serious take is that he is short and evil.

Yoda... small winky green, spent the summer stalking him and found he likes tormenting poor trapped people with questions but was always fair with them, giving them a chance to escape and also willing to have the odd chats now and then with his stalker at crazy hours. I say vote Yoda in 2012!

He is a true friend and has been such a kindred spirit that he has become over the years more than a friend, yoda is family.

In my tenure with the SBG, I've seen hoards of folks appear and disappear from the family here. Many have cast a shining light while here, and some have been but a small glimmer. Yoda, my friend, you have been a virtual beacon to this guild. That guiding light, you so loyally display, has touched more lives than maybe you'll ever know. You show the wisdom of Ghandhi, the love of Mother Theresa, the patience of Jobe, and the understanding and direction of the world's greatest Phsyciatrist. Your friendship is unfaultering to both new and old members and your respect for others knows few bounds. I've always felt that if I got nothing else from my long stay in this guild, I was surely blessed by being able to call you a close friend.

I failed miserably in my search high and low for 1 of Yoda's closest friends... Gramdragon. I'm sorry I missed her, but am absolutely positive she will be later adding her own 2-pence worth for Yoda's enjoyment. I had to stop my interviews of *friends of Yoda* as the lines were forming down the street. I'll be surprised if this passes the character limit of a post now, but you deserve so much more....
