Some days, my thoughts seem to drift toward ice cream. Because old men like me metabolize like a Galapagos tortoise, I don’t allow myself to ingest the wonderful, cold stuff very often. Buying stocks can be like a trip to Baskin Robbins. They have the standard flavors that are good, but nothing spectacular. Gold Medal Ribbon, World Class Chocolate and Mint Chocolate Chip are like SMUG, CHIA, JCK and POWL. They can be enjoyed almost everyday. The top-notch sellers like Chocolate Fudge, French Vanilla, and Pralines and Cream are always at the peak of their game, like FISH and SSGS. The seasonal favorites, Quarterback Crunch, Heath Bar, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup are flavors of the week, much like TSRC and BB are right now. BOOM is Pink Bubble Gum, just for kids and hard to swallow. AAVL? Yep, low-fat, peach flavored yogurt. It's only good when everything else has melted.
Index at 1222? Don't be shy about taking profits. It can't last forever now, can it?

Another huge gain today puts the index at its highest peak ever. Just when you think the gravy train's about to stop, the green just keeps on chuggin'. Looks good to me! I could take it forever, but we all know that can’t happen.
I suppose we can keep milking profits from the market until it stops producing. Today's a good day for profits with TSRC, BB and DROO creeping up and inching even higher.
BIG MOVERS: TSRC +14, JCK +10, CHIA +8, BOTT +6, SHRX –5 and SKEI –6.
Overall, the market looks good today with an A+. But, I don’t know how much more of this we'll see in the coming days.

Neodaq Index: 1254 points, Down (-13)
The market’s decline today was not because of any big drops, but mostly from a one-point loss here or a 2-point loss there. You’re all familiar with this scenario. With today’s lack of big movers, some of the potential sales seem to have slowed. There are plenty of stocks to sell, just not anything new, and FAER and TSRC still offer a chance for big profits. Even with the market looking less green than it did previously, it's still a great day to add to your portfolios. With seven stocks in the 15-18 buying range, eight stocks in the 30-40 range, and seven stocks above 40, I give today a B-.
BIG MOVERS:
BB (+9), JCK (-4), and TSRC (-4).

Neodaq Index: 1250 points, Up (+17)
The Neodaq seems to have found a temporary home around the mid 1200s. How long that holds remains to be seen. Today's report is centered on stocks in the 30+ range. This has been an exciting month for sales, with 16 stocks currently at or above the 30 mark. This means that more than 1/3 of all active stocks are within selling range right now. The time is right to recover some of those stale neopoints sitting in everyone's portfolios. The big mover is BB, for sure. It peaked at its all-time high in the mid 90s, only to fall back to the mid 70s today. My advice would be to make neopoints "while the Daq shines" because we never know when the market will flatten next. Good luck, and have a great day.

I wonder what it would be like if my mom were to help me with today's advice. She might say to keep an eye on VPTS, and to eat everything on my plate, especially my vegetables. Mom seems to like Sloth, not sure why. Mom would probably say to buy more BUZZ, but then remind me never to buy BUZZ and drive, and never play with matches. Mom knows best. I have a feeling that Mom would advise selling TSRC as it may be prudent, and also advise to never ever, ever run with scissors. And of course, Mom would tell me that buying all of the AAVL I own was a huge mistake, and that NAKR is a waste of time, and that I shouldn't hang out with the wrong crowd. Mom definitely would not approve of me hanging out with Outlaw. My mom is awesome, and I know of another mom who Rox.
Once again, I think selling stocks is the thing to do now. I seem to recall long dry spells lasting for months without any stocks to sell, and the index being in the 600-700 range. So, be careful, you might put your eye out.

Well, just as I said, it eventually it had to stop. But I must say, it certainly was a fun ride. And who knows, this may just be a dip in the rollercoaster, not necessarily the end of the ride. The market isn't looking too spectacular, but not horrible overall. EEEEE, BB, and TSRC, last week's selling prospects, are still holding fairly strong. And to count, we have 5 bread and butter stocks in the 15-17 range, and a handful more are at 13-14. Overall, today gets a C+ with the buys saving the day, so to speak.

Well, it looks as if the days of wine and roses are over for this run. The Daq continued its plunge today, losing another 38 points. BB's 16-point drop leads all losses, along with SSS and KSON, each losing 5 points. On the upside, TSRC is back up 7 points and CHIA jumps up 4 points. EEEEE seems to be holding in the mid 50s right now, but keep a close eye on its movement. There are quite a few stocks coming into good buying range, so take advantage of this time to rebuild those portfolios. So far, September has been a great month for sales, and I fully believe there will be a few more before the month is over.

NEODAQ INDEX: 1165, Down (-22)
Today's Index declined another 22 points, much like it did yesterday. It's kind of like gas prices, but, only in reverse. The Daq seems to take a long time to climb, but it only takes a day or two for it to plummet. The good news is that the 22-point loss was from midnight's figures. At the time of this writing, the Daq is actually up 15 points from yesterday's reported Index. It's managing to stay steady even though it appears to be declining. Five stocks are currently in the 15-18 buying range, and three additional stocks, COFL, HELT and MYNC are hovering at 14. Keep a close watch on these three.
BIG MOVERS: SMUG (-12), TSRC (-9), SSGS (-7), CHPS(-6), FISH and CHIA (-4). On the plus side are BB (+8 ), POWL (+5) and SWNC (+4).

Is it just me, or does anyone else have stocks they really like and stocks they really don’t like for no apparent reason? Now, I have a certain fondness for BUZZ and CYBU because I have a Buzz and a Cybunny. That makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? But I also really like VPTS, TPP and PDSS. Why? I have no clue, none to the nth degree. Other stocks I don’t like are NATN and KAUF, and NAKR is my least favorite. I have never owned NAKR. Why? I still have no clue. But, my all-time favorite stock for no particular reason is BOTT. I don’t know why this stock makes me smile.
It seems that someone has broken the market index. It wasn’t me. Really. There are lots of decent buys, and EEEEE remains steady at 61. The Index rebounded a little since yesterday, but it still seems to be heading downward.

NEODAQ INDEX: 1186, Down (-47)
The index suffers a major loss of 47 points, bringing it back into perspective in the high 1100s. Today is major spoiler as two potential sales get shot down in the act, SWNC and BB with 10- and 12-point losses, respectively. As you can see, the market is significantly one sided. But one bright side, today has a delicious amount of buys, with four at the 15-17 range, and about eight more lurking at 12-14. Overall, today gets a C- with the buys coming in to salvage the day.

Friday morning finds the Daq in sort of a void, meaning nothing exciting has happened one way or the other since midnight. The recent 3-day slide was bound to happen after riding such a high. It seems to have leveled off at around the 1200 mark. Biggest movers have been SSGS (+6), FISH ( +6), CHIA (+4) and POWL (-8 ). All other movers were in the 1-3 point range. A fresh face has moved back into the buying range AAVL (15) along with six other stocks in the 15-18 range. I'd rate today a flat C, only because of the buys.

NEODAQ INDEX: 1242, No Change
Saturday's Daq is similar to being in a weather pattern which doesn't change for days. Now I see why it's so hard for the forecasters to report the weather. No change in the index since midnight, although the Daq has risen 47 points since yesterday. The stocks in buying range are limited as well with only six stocks in the 15-18 range. It's now a waiting game to see which way the market moves next. The lack of real sales and the small selection of buys gives today a C- rating.
